With a Heavy Heart....

Nearly booked AirAsia flight tickets to Australia. When I said nearly, I really meant nearly. I've decided on the dates, got Juli agreement, filled all the necessary columns, selected the seats, then when it time to confirm the payment, Juli called again. I was mumbling to her that the initial fare which is RM1,404 (for 2 person) is ballooning to more than RM1800. The additional cost started to add up, starting with the check in luggage charges (RM20 per person per trip), then the meal (RM20 per person per trip) than the seat selection (another RM20 per person per trip) and these does not include the insurance charges. Then Juli reminded me that Australia is not our first choice, New Zealand is. Beside, we will incur additional cost once we arrive in Australia (accommodation, foods etc), whereas in New Zealand we have Rina. So, with a heavy heart I close my booking page....huhuhuhuh.

To placate myself and Juli, I am praying really hard that MAS will start offering the RM0 fare to the international route soon. So Juli, be alert!!!!
