Missing You

It's nearly 2 am in the morning and I am tossing and turning in my bed, trying to get a sleep. I failed miserably. So I decided to be here, in front of the laptop and blog. Some thought came across my minds and most of it were related to my previous trip to NZ. I miss Rina and I think Juli also feels the same. NZ was great; the views, the fruits, the foods. But the thing I miss most were the moments when the three of us were together. Talking about everything and anything, from morning till way passed our bedtime. We sort of qada all the stories that were kept for a year since we last met.

You see, Rina is special. She has ways with words and acting. And that is why her antics can easily make an impression with most people who met her. I remember a friend of mine who met Rina for the first time and we were in his car and he was driving while Rina was sitting at the back chattering her heart out. He said to me "You know, if I did not look back at the rear view mirror and saw Rina speaking, I would have believe that the voice is coming from the radio. She sounded like a DJ." Yep...she's a DJ alright. She knows how to tell stories and make it interesting. If she suddenly become silent (like during our trip back from Wellington) we know something is going on in her mind. Something serious. And we will become uncomfortable and edgy. Ah...friendship intuition. It will get stronger as you grow older.

I never thought the friendship among the three of us would last this long. People would said, once you get married friendship become second and sometimes last or probably ended. Maybe, in our case, we are lucky coz Rina's husband is not the possessive type and a happy go lucky person. I still remember the time when Rina was still in KL and both me and Juli were dropping by at her house for our weekly dose of gossiping. We were talking at the dining table in a hush2 tones and suddenly her husband came up and pulled out a chair and sat between us and put both his hands under his chin and said, "Kita anyam ketupat apa ari nie???". We burst out laughing at his spontaniosity. Yeah...he is one of a kind. Well, hopefully any man that will be marrying me and Juli will have this kinda attitude. Accept that your wife come with extra baggages, wacky friends that is. As long as you can deal with it, you will be respected by us.

To Rina, you are being missed by us. And to Sepul, thanks for being a wonderful husband to Rina. You both rock, but Rina rocks better than you la (I am obliged to put my friend first....hahahaha).

I'm confused, were we doing the Haka dance or were we attacking the photographer?
