Happy People

I checked out around 1.40pm after my Zohor prayer. So while I was waiting for the bill at the hotel front desk, the officer in charge made a small chat and I kinda feel chirpy myself so I just layan and smile at their banters. Then one of the senior executive made a statement that make me wanna smile even more. He said "Orang macam Cik Puan nie la yang buatkan hati kami nie sejuk je bila kerja kat sini". Then I asked why is that. His answer, it is because I was polite, patient and very friendly. I wanna laugh out loud when I heard that. He didn't know the real me then...ngehehehe, Anyway, I appreciate the compliment. He just made my day.

Then another happy person would be the Makcik kerepek in Ayer Hitam. I was trying to find her gerai and was walking passed her gerai when she called me. Luckily she noticed me, coz I kinda lost my sense of direction due to the crowd yesterday. We chatted, then she said "Anak nie kerja Polis kan?". So I told her no, I am not a police. I am working with ___________. The last time I met her I was wearing my uniform which is not a police uniform by the way. (Teringat kat Abang Pulis....oh Abang Pulis...kekekekeke) She remembered. In my life, I have been mistaken for a number of occupations, a Teacher (very popular), a Doctor, an Accountant and now a Police, this is a first....ehehehe.

As I was heading home, I suddenly have this craving for Baskins Robbin's ice-cream. So my next stop is R&R Ayer Keroh. I had Banana Royale.

I did not stop for lunch or dinner because I am looking forward to eat Laksa Penang cooked by Mummy. Mom managed to save a bowl for me, if not my brother would probably finish it off by the time I arrived home. I wipe the whole bowl clean. I am famished and the laksa is simply the best with the thick and tasty fish gravy. Beside, she made the Laksa herself. She learned it during our stay in Kem Majidee from our neighbour who is from Terengganu. (Vagg, ko orang ganu kan? Ko kena buat bagi aku try test). Nyum...nyum...Lapaq pulak.
