Ayer Hitam Shopping Spree

The journey back to KL was great. I made a stop at Ayer Hitam as usual to buy a few jajans.

After all the ordering and packing by my favorite makcik, I am quite surprised with the final amount of jajans that I bought. 2 kg of kerepek ubi kari, 1.5 kg of small tempeyek kacang, 4 packets of kepok kapal terbang, 5 packets of cucuq penderam dan of course Zuly's kerepek keladi and bayam. Let me make it clear, these items are not for personal consumption. It is to be distributed to all the relevant parties;families, friends and officemates.

Then, I made a stop at the usual flower shop run by this helpful and friendly Chinese Aunty. It is just across the road from gerai kerepek. I would not actually call it a shop la, just a gerai with lots of flower arrangements. Zuly asked me to order the same flower arrangement like we did for G-han (last month we ordered a purple flower arrangement for G-han's make up table for her upcoming wedding) but she want it in Kuning Raja aka really bright yellow. So, using my artistic eyes and taste I choose a few flowers with the colors that she wanted and here is the final look in a plastic bag. Not bad, it looks much nicer if you see it in live than the one I captured here. So go to Zuly's house for a closer looks...hehehehe. After much kautim with Aunty, the price for this flower arrangement is RM15, flower and leaves included.

So, looking at Zuly's flower arrangement I was tempted to get one for my home, my small dining table to be exact. But the boring me choose an earth tone color and smaller flower arrangement which cost only RM10.50. How does it looks like?? Taraaaa.....
