A Week Posting...

Setelah lama mood menulis takda, maka di pagi yang hening ini sementara menunggu kedatangan Jenet untuk membersihkan umah, aku akan titipkan beberapa coretan peristiwa yang berlaku minggu lepas.

First and foremost, the birthdays of three very special people in the family which is my younger brother and his daughter, and also the wife of my older brother aka SIL. We had a private celebration at the new Sri Ayuthya outlet in Wangsa Maju with almost everyone there except for Abah which has another function at our surau and Aliff who is down with fever (I think..).

Then yesterday, we joined a big convoy to Raub to attend the weeding of my cousin's daughter. The best part of this kenduri was the food that they served. Totally kampung and you need to bersila some more. The menu was simple, pucuk paku masak lemak, labu masak lemak, nangka mask lemak, sambal hitam, sambal belacan, ulam, daging rendang, ikan masin, ulam and tembikai. In the souvenir bag, they also packed a small tupperware of that delicious sambal hitam to take home. This is a specialty in this part of Pahang. You need to taste it to understand what is the hype all about.

And last Friday, I did managed to watch this awesome and funny movie.
Phew...what a week!
